# Missing

Do the streets ever get lonely?  
What about the facades of the houses  
that face the ocean at night?

Does silence miss the thunders?  
Or the blue skies…the stars?  
Does the sun reach for the moon  
behind the grey clouds?

I hear the plants pray for rain at noon,  
but the clouds refuse to open in daylight.

Is it really love wanting to be loved,  
or is it a cover-up for the lack of love?

How long will the church bells slice the day into night?  
Since when have questions been marching  
through the streets of my mind?

What about the stars, the moon and the sun,  
will they, perhaps one day,   
remember how to meet as one?
